Just realised our child has posted some change through the CD gap. Thank god I managed to get my Rocky 4 CD out in one piece.

Any one else had this issue and is it as simple as taking it out and unscrewing until I get to the area where they lay?

Hi, Our Zafira B 1.9 cdti Breeze 2009 broke down and would not start while on holiday in Germany, RAC recovered us to the main Opel dealer in the town. The Dealer said the camshaft sensor was out of range, then the EGR valve faulty, these were replaced but didn't fix the fault. Next day they said the ECU was faulty. They quoted 250 euros for repair then 3 days later said it could not be repaired, and quoted 1700 euros for replacement. So I said, send it back to UK and I will find somewhere...

Instrument cluster intermittently not working at all

As the title says sometimes the instrument cluster completely turns off, sometimes it's just the fuel gage, sometimes it's just the temps. Sometimes it throws up random warning lights that never stay more than half an hour. Very rarely does everything work all at once. I checked the fuse on the passenger side dash and it was perfectly fine not blown or anything. I ordered an obd2 reader just incase that can help me in any way figure it out but what do you guys think it is and how can I fix...

Hello everyone.

A newbie here and im hoping someone with the right expertese can help me out.

My wifes corsa c with easytronic gearbox fired up the dreaded F fault and after checking with opcom and doing some research i came to the conclusion that the apparently very common clutch actuator was to blame. My guess work so far has proved correct as there was very little brush left and one had completely no contact with the motor.

Brakes Rubbing

I recently noticed on my Zafira 1.6 57 plate that the rear brake pads were rubbing on the discs after i released the hand brake.

I noticed the pads were very low and I was advised to get them changed.

I changed my rear pads and the discs were fine and there was no un usual wear on the old pads and the callipers were not seized and everything seem to sort it self out,

Over the past week since the weather has been getting hotter and ive has the windows down i can hear the rear brakes are...

Morning All,

So I’ve just pulled away from Kwik fit not very happy...

They tried to gas my AC, he pressure tested fine, he gassed up fine, he had the AC going because the revs went up once the button was pressed you can hear it change, but no cold air!! They refunded in me full because they said that’s there policy so fair play to them but what could it be?

It was gassed up, the AC was on as the revs raised once pressed, there’s no leaks? What’s going on? He said you usually also hear a...

I have a Zafira B, Life, 1.6 engine, 2005 coming up with error code P0171 and engine management light on. It raves a little while on idle and also stalls when shifting gears. I have so far changed spark plugs, coil, EGR valve, done a complete intake manifold clean, changed oxygen sensor 1 and don't seem to have any air leaks anywhere but I don't seem to have any improvements and the code still apears. Can anyone advise what could it be...

Hi every one, broke down today. Car lost power an cut out. Pulled up an tried to start the car again. It started but sounded an felt rough... engine seem to be moving about a lot. .. 1.9cdti 16v 150. Give it a rev an it seem to clear but still seems a little ruff an engine smells like it's getting hot... any ideas what it could be....?

Broken bolt head

Hi guys.

Quick one and an urgent one. Went to replace the water outlet housing and the damn bolt head snapped off leaving the bolt in situ.

Any bright ideas on how to remove this?

Was meant to return the fliping car on Friday to get them to resolve the leak. Should have just left it.

EGR Voltage

Trying to track down a P0400 error. EGR is brand new, same fault on the old egr which was a pierburg and also brand new 2 months ago.

Getting flow insuffiecent.

Using a voltmeter with connected directly into the egr connector with the engine on I am getting between 10.5 and 11v, if however I take the negative prong and put it against the engine I am getting 14 to 14.5 volts.

Does anyone know the correct voltage the egr should operate? Do you think it maybe an earth issue if the voltage...

Helping fix a friends car that threw up the EML, we were going to blank the egr but in the end it has been decided to clean the egr and not blank it off.

HOWEVER, just found out a brand new Piersburg EGR was fitted by a garage in February. Codes cleared and since then it has bought up the EML twice, both times with these codes :

227956
04005a

Im confused by the 04005a code, I know 0400 means EGR but anyone know what the 5a means?

As for 227956 are there any likely places that commonly...

Hi, so, perhaps I am entering the wrong key words, but I have failed to find what I want help with on the forum.
Astra H, 2005 Z20LER. Keys lost, client purchased a 'new' key, actually two new keys from China with PCF7941 transponder remote key. Accessed pin by OBD, and tried to program new key. Got a failed response, with key problem.
I replaced the transponder with one I know to be unlocked. Still no joy. I had made the mistake of deleting all keys, so I cannot do the keys from eprom.
