Engine Pulses when accelerating

Hi,

I have a Zafira B 1.6 petrol which when i accelerate it feels like it's pulsing. Anyone had this problem or know what could cause it. Also a rough price I'd be looking at to get it fixed?

In winter we found this in a field, covered in snow:

For 6 months we'd been looking for the right van, and on this day we'd been diverted 300 miles due to deep snow and road closures, right to it. We liked the colour and the privacy windows. It drove like new. And so it was ours.

It needed a name of course, and looking at the V5 we noticed the VIN number, W0LF7. So that's how he came to be known as Wolfie....

Help with these codes.

Hi all, went into limp mode last night, eml came on then I turned engine off and it went out, but still in limp mode (no boost) eml kept coming on for the next 30 miles so I kept turning engine off and on and eventually I got full power back, and was ok for the next 1 hour 45 miles, any help with the codes?

C1226 fault code wheel speed sensor triggering engine light

Had the engine/emission light come on today. Had an AA man read the codes and cane up as c1226 and a few others originally. All linking to rear left and front right wheel speed sensors.

He cleared and I drove up the road and back, no light returned but when he reread for codes it still had c1226 front right wheel speed sensor.

He was a bit stumped why it triggered engine management light and not abs.


How we assisted

Found someone who is breaking an astra h elite, he has the power fold mirrors.

I'm taking the mirrors and the switch and the wiring looms.

Regarding the looms, is it a simple job of swapping them over? I popped up to see him over the weekend and he said he's unplugged everything but the looms seem to be still attached where it goes from the door to front side of the car. I had a little pull but It didn't seem to budge.

I'm thinking there is a specific way on how to remove the loom from...

Humming noise

I have an insignia 2011 cdti nav model. I had the brakes and discs replaced and it's making a humming noise from the rear driver side wheel. The garage had a look and said they fixed it but it's started again. They thought it was possibly the electric hand brake coming on but it's not that as I can the motor when that comes on. It happens in 1st and 2nd gear and stops when I put the brakes on or go over 35mph.

ok hear is a long winded one so just bought a zafira well 2 of the things
so i bought a zafira 2006 and i am having issues with the cetral locking the key dose not lock nor unlock the car i have looked at the cars papers and it had a repair at the doors and the fault was pointed to the fuse box had a play and the blue clip plug on the rear fuse board if you unplug it then reconnect it all the doors work fine (happy days i thought) then you unlock car and it will not lock again until you...

Brake pedal

Brake pedal right at the top and rock hard,sometimes when the engine is started there is a an inch or so of down movement like the servo has come into play. no issue with braking stops on a tanner an gives 5d change. The problem is some times the pedal will not go down far enough to to actuate the switch that allows the auto box to be engaged. Any one got any suggestions ? There is no issue with the stop lights

Misfire above 2500rpm

Hi there, I have a 2005 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 SXI Twinport with 84k miles on the clock. The problem I have is that when I get to 2500rpms in any gear the engine misfires and pulls back. It does this on both a hot and cold engine. Starting is no problem at all, the idle is smooth and upto 2500rpm it is very smooth. I changed the coil pack 2 months ago and have in fact just fitted a another coil pack but the problem still exists. Have done the pedal test for codes and there are none showing. Did...

Good evening, thank god for Google and these forums which i have just found.
Can anyone shed light or help me? I love my 10 year old Combo van, its been serviced throughtout the 10 years ive had her. But the last few months with all the rain ive got a leak, tried the battery comp, all dry tried roof rack screws nothing even popped sealant round them. Trim problems

I'm really sorry to bombard this forum with questions but I have another conundrum.

During this wind we are having, I've just had two pieces of trim fly off. I've managed to save them but they won't go back on the clips properly.
What would be the best kind of adhesive to use to stick them on permanently.
Once stuck and done they will be getting repainted and will never be removed again.
Looking for a permanent bond

Immobiliser problem

Evening All.

Have a nice problem!
Came home - switched off engine to take keys to unlock garage door.
Got back in - key in ignition - zilch - nothing. Then noticed that Immobiliser indicator flashing on dash and that MID is on? Turning ignition on switches radio on but no starter.

Is this a Main dealer job or is there someone there who has a good idea on how to fix?

Hi

Could anyone help with me the following fault codes, following advice on here I did the pedal test this evening on the Zafira 56 plate, as my Exhaust Emission Light as lit up this evening

The codea are 013607, 014100, 111306,161300,161450,161600,210870,213970

Any help / advice appreciated before I take to garage

Rear power socket

Hi all.
I'e a 66 plate vivaro and the rear power socket (inside of offside rear light ) doesn' appear to be working. I'e checked fuses and appear ok and pulled it out and checked there are wires actually going to it. Any other ideas where to look
