hello I've got the Astra 1.7cdti 5dr elite model.

Long story but here goes. The other day I left ju door open for about 40 min then a neighbor closed it for me. When I come to try and start it there was nothing at all sort of asif the car immobiliser kicked in. So I locked and unlocked car with key manually and messed about and it started. Got in the car next morning then nothing again Judy clicking noise so I jumped it and it's been fine for two days. Just come out of work and now won't...

Was feeling brave this morning when I bought a low mileage Vectra Sri estate for buttons. Was told he died whilst driving in August 2017. And would not restart. Fuel pump turns. Fuel rail replaced. It was then parked up as possible injector fault.

I had a quick go of cranking it and ran the code as P0115 P0100 P0400. None of which made me think it would have been enough to stop an engine in its tracks.

So if anyone has suggestions or at least a running order of basic checks of which...

I have bought a 2008 combo 1.7 cdti van, I knew it had a few problems one of which is an oil leak. I have given everywhere a clean so I can try and pinpoint the source, and oil is leaking out the top of the intercooler to turbo pipe hose (i think that's what it is called) from the clip, see 2nd pic.

I have taken the throttle hose off and there is also quite a bit of oil pooling by the butterfly plate also.

Hiya Everyone

I have an 06 zafira 2.2 auto club and two nights ago we had a spell of snow and a cold night I parked up at 5 pm and all was fine with the drive home, went out to the car the next morning and it would not start so gave the solenoid a light tap and it started but dashboard was throwing up many warning lights so used op-com to clear them and it was fine for the next day until I parked up again and the same thing so next morning took the battery off an 075 which is only 1 year...

I'm looking to take my egr valve out to give it a clean. After looking all over the net to try to find at least a picture of it's location... I just can't find anything. Can someone please tell me in plain English where to find the damn thing.

I have the 1.7 cdti SRi on 61 plate

hi had to reinstall my opcom software tonight so i can clear fault codes on my Zafi after a repair!

however Ive installed the software but when I do a interface check it tells me to connect the device to the USB or install a USB driver!

now im quite proficient with computers and know how to install a driver but for the life of me I cant find the driver for the opcom in the usual manor!

ive gone into device manager and then attempted to update driver but cannot find a driver on the disk....

Dear all, I'm new here and have an issue with my 53 plate zafira A.
It was driving fine then as I attempted A 3 point turn, heard a click / clunk as I was turning the steering, lifted the clutch and nothing. I was trying to reverse after the clink. Took it out of reverse, put in first and lifted the clutch, again nothing. I then tried putting it in every forward gear (5) and reverse and each time gear stick slotted into gear easily no crunching grinding or stiffness, but I lifted the clutch...

hello could some one help me with this, i have 2 codes come up on op com p0100 Mass air flow voltage high and p0110 intake air temperature voltage high.

I have changed the MAF twice and will not clear the codes. im so stuck with this.

My Zaf has completely got me in a knot. The ball & chain was driving it and the gears became very hard to engage and she got the RAC to bring it home. They said the CSC was u/s.
I purchased one (transmech) for 45 quid. Took the box off and changed it. Put it all back together and tried to bleed it (according to instructions - gravity and manual). No pressure and the gear problem was just the same.
I took the box off again and put a new clutch & pressure plate in it and put it back together....

Hi All & Happy New Year,
Does anyone know where the power to the roof unit (light and alarm ultra-sound unit) comes from?

I have a flat cable disappearing off into the passenger side in the roof but I'm not sure where it goes to.

Problem is that I have no power at all in the roof unit since Xmas Eve - there is none on the flat cable that I can detect either

One option (favored at the moment) is to drop a new wire in from wherever power is sourced from, if I can find where that is....

Hi
I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a 1.6 astra h petrol with lpg, it has done 75k miles it was running well until about a year when only in winter it would misfire i changed coil pack and it ran well for a while.

The problem got worse and now every time i start car in morning it cuts off or when i go up to 40 and hen brake it cuts off. I restart cR its fine but sometimes it wont go over 60 i realy have to go through the gears the. Sometimes it gets better but sometimes eml...

Hi just a quick one, the wife's got home tonight and told me that these 3 lights had come on. Scanned with opcom and coming back with two fault codes. C1226 and C0040-5A am I right in thinking this is the front drivers side ABS sensor at fault?

52 plate 1.0 easytronic, turns over but wont start.
Used a generic reader and got codes U3111 C0300 and U1100
Its a car my family used to own and the F light came on when we had it, on the advice of the AA the gearbox modules were sent for testing and came back ok, i found out it was the crank sensor and replaced it and all was well (after figuring out how to bleed the clutch without a pedal to pump).
3 years on and i get a call from the mate that bought it, he says the F light did come on a...

Recently had the high level brake light on my Zafira b Design Nav fail. I've seen a few posts but they didn't really help do I hope this might be useful.
1. Remove the interior trim. Use a short bladed flat screwdriver on left or right side of trim and insert it into the gap near the glass. Lift the trim a little so you can get hold of it near the glass and pull ( you may have to pull quite hard but don't worry, the panel and clips are quite strong ). Hi. I have recently bought my Astra 2009 Sri auto and have a problem with rear demister. It doesn't work when I press the switch but when I put sport mode on the switch lights up and demister works. Any ideas

Car is mk4 (-98) Astra 1,6l 16v (about 260,000 km). It started to use more oil, and quite suddenly also more gas. I had ignored some "knocking" in the engine until car lost some power. It always started and I could drive it but going uphill became suddenly tough. The engine had slight burning oil smell, and it seemed to smoke more from the exhaust, but couldn't say if it was blue smoke. Plugs had oil on inside. They were actually dripping. Good afternoon people.
I have had the spanner light going on and off at regular intervals. Decided to save on long term cost and bought a OPCOM (great piece of equipment).
It say's "Diesel Particulate Filter sensor hose fault". I have replaced the tube at the DPF end (mine is the version with only one pipe to the sensor) and have cleared the fault but it still reappears. I know it has another flexable pipe at the other end but can't trace it to the sensor.
Can anyone tell me if this is a...
