I have noticed audi these days calls their models numbers. I saw one with the number 50 and another with 40.

Have they gone back to the old system when the old A2 was launched where it was called or labelled 3L because it could achieve 3 liters per 100km?

2009 163bhp CDTI
I seem to have an occasional slow coolant leak. I can see no visible coolant loss when car is left standing. The only thing that may have happened is the PRV in expansion tank cap may have blown as bulkhead fabric behind PRV realease hole does seem damp.
Any know issues that lead to coolant loss
that I may be missing
Any help appreciated

Hi we’ve recently bought a insignia sport tourer (2014 plate). We have three children and want to put our eldest in the middle backseat with a booster, she’s 8 years old so this is legal. However we’ve noticed there is no headrest in the middle! Am I missing something? Why would this be? And is there anyway of getting one fitted? I thought it was a requirement these days for whiplash safety, I can’t believe a 2014 plate car wouldn’t have one. Any ideas guys?

Hi,

I have a 62 plate Vauxhall Astra i have changed the fuse in the front left hand side fuse box but it still is not working. any one have any ideas please the fuse was #6 in the box with 20 amp.

Hi. A neighbour has told me about his corsa1.2 16V. He said he's been told that the car will needed ecu. How likely is that a ecu alone will solve and get the car back up on the road?

Can I perform the ecu installation??

Hi all brand new on here
Have had my insignia for around 2 months. When breaking I get a single pop noise coming from somewhere under the car. Been to the dealers twice to no avail going back in on Monday under the 3 month guarantee. I have done a search on the internet and can find nothing about this. PLEASE HELP it's really annoying .

Hiya all, after several break ins through my 210 Vivaro swb side doors the barstuards finally damaged the rails so much that they are un repairable. So i had the side door bolted shut on the inside as i didnt use it much anyway.
All was fine just using just the back doors until yesterday. After locking the doors last night i came to open the back doors this morning and everything sounded fine when unlocking with the fob, the front doors all open fine and lock / unlock with the fob, the same...

Locked out, any suggestions much appreciated

Hi after some quick advice guys, I bought a luk flywheel clutch an csc kit, having removed the old gearbox and in the process of swapping and installing new parts I noticed the ends of the csc pipe are slightly different.

Now just wondering if the 2 are compatible even though slightly different? Please see attached pictures. The pipe goes into the elbow with the bleed nipple on but can't seem to get the retaining clip through. And I'm nervous of forcing it incase I break it.

It’s a squealing sound when I’m driving it sounds like it coming from the drivers side unsure if it’s front or back, I have just replaced the pads but it is still consistent and makes driving it horrendous, I took it to kwikfit the guy said a stone may be behind the guard but after a feel around nothing is there. I am posting on here to hopefully get some information about it if anyone has had this before, I am just trying to isolate the course instead of next doing my break pads and it...

hi guys, my insignia m32 gearbox has bitten the dust and im having trouble sourcing a new one, but i have been offered a number of f40 boxes. I was wondering if anyone out there has ever changed their insignia from an m32 to the f40 and if so, what success/problems did you have

Been looking at normal 115bhp vivaro but seen a good biturbo 120bhp vivaro for top end of our budget. Looks a good deal but I've not looked into them much.

Are they more of a risk in terms of buying used and reliability over standard vivaro vans? I read they're better for fuel economy and emissions. I've read something about a few getting turbo problems that needed vauxhall input to sort out.

It's for camper conversion.

Hi all,

I’ve had the engine management light come on my 08 diesel Meriva.

Since the lights been on the cars been in limp mode I believe, acceleration is pretty shocking.

I took the car to a local Wilco’s, they did a diagnostics which shew up that the service was overdue & Engine oil life exceeded.

The engine oil level is fine but the car hasn’t been serviced for 2 years, so I physically need to pay for a service to resolve these faults or is there another route?

Hi all, I’m hoping I’m posting in the right place!

I’ve had a service done at Vauxhall today. On collection of my car and looking around with the guy that handled my case, I went to the courtesy car and removed my items to put into my boot.

When trying to open the electric boot mechanism on my car, it’s completely dead - nothing there at all & the boot won’t open.

It was 100% working when I dropped it off yesterday evening, I removed items from it to put in the courtesy car. Nobody saw...

Its been a few weeks since I have been on the forum with my issue of our Corsa D 1.0L not starting after battery going flat, we tried to jump start with leads but turns out that is not the correct way to go about it. I have since got my updated Op-Com from KoiCarkeeper (many thanks for all the help-Sound lad.)
I have connected up to the car yesterday and have now attached the list of faults taken down along with Live data when I crank the engine over. Still no start. Any help would be great....

Hi, Our Zafira B 1.9 cdti Breeze 2009 broke down and would not start while on holiday in Germany, RAC recovered us to the main Opel dealer in the town. The Dealer said the camshaft sensor was out of range, then the EGR valve faulty, these were replaced but didn't fix the fault. Next day they said the ECU was faulty. They quoted 250 euros for repair then 3 days later said it could not be repaired, and quoted 1700 euros for replacement. So I said, send it back to UK and I will find somewhere...

I have a 2004 1.9 CDTi Vivaro which has always been quite reliable but will now crank over but not start.

It first did this once about 18 months ago and the AA man managed to prime the fuel system and get it going again.

It has been fine until yesterday morning, when it wouldn't go again. I put a Foxwell code reader on it and there were no faults logged. The guy who normally drives it wiggled the fuses about in the n/s end of the dashboard yesterday evening and it started. He ran it for...
