Vectra C 1.9 hard starting

Hi guys and gals.

I've a slight problem with my Vectra while starting.

I recently had to replace the engine due to an unfortunate flooding accident.

There is 100k miles on the engine and once it starts. It runs like a new engine, boosts properly also.

Firstly, if I get in and let the glow plug light go out and attempt to start it can take up to 7 seconds to start and it splutters to a start.

But if I allow the pump to prime until it clicks and turn the key 5-6 times to allow the glow...
