If i place my new grateful dead album on my LP turntable it struggles to start , eventually it gets up to speed but as soon as the stylus contacts the grooves the turntable platter slows down until it stops dead . If i take it off & flip it over to play side 2 the turntable starts perfectly & when the stylus contacts the grooves the platter keeps perfect speed & record plays fine , very strange indeed ![:whistle:]( "Whistling :whistle:")
