Hi Guys I'm new here and i could really do with your help, I'm in the process of fitting a new alternator and belt to a 2.0 cdti engine.
The alternator is on but my problem is the alternator belt seems to be a fraction to long!!
I have checked with the supplier of the belt and it is the right one.
I have Googled images of the engine to see how the belt should be fitted so I know how it goes back on but I still end up with a fair amount of slack, Obviously I'm doing something wrong but I...
