Diesel run off test am I doing something wrong

Hi tried to test injectors having problems with car I have no fault codes,
I disconnected fuel run off pipes from top of the injectors, attached the test lines with bottles attached to the top of the injectors started it up and diesel pouring out of the run off lines I disconnected waterfall style engine cuts out, but starts up again fine.
Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the car?

I bought the car with a "blown turbo" I have changed the turbo still pouring out...
